The course is structured in accordance with Australian Standards: Planning for emergencies in facilities (AS 3745), Planning for Emergencies – Health Care Facilities (AS 4083) and the General Fire Regulations (where applicable).
Participants are exposed to relevant information for their role as a Chief Warden. This information supports the implementation of emergency procedures, staff training requirements and the roles and responsibilities of the Chief Warden in the event of an emergency that may warrant an evacuation. Successful participants will receive a Statement of Completion accredited by the Tasmania Fire Service.
