WARDEN COURSE – SOUTH REGION
This course is designed for people who are assigned the responsibility as the Warden (and Area Warden) in their workplace. The course is structured in accordance with Australian Standards: Planning for emergencies in facilities (AS 3745), Planning for Emergencies – Health Care Facilities (AS 4083) and the General Fire Regulations (where applicable).
Participants are exposed to relevant information for their role as a Warden. This information supports the implementation of emergency procedures and the roles and responsibilities of the Warden in the event of an emergency that may warrant an evacuation. Successful participants will receive a Statement of Completion accredited by the Tasmania Fire Service.

COURSE PREREQUISITE
There are no pre-requisites for undertaking this course. However it is recommended that participants who have been selected to attend this course have an awareness of their workplace emergency plan and expectations of the role of a warden in their workplace.
COURSE COST
The course duration is half a day and the fee is $300 (GST inclusive) per participant.

COURSE VENUE
This course is conducted at 1040 Cambridge Rd Cambridge (near Hobart); we also conduct courses in Burnie and Launceston. Alternatively by arrangement courses can be conducted in your workplace where appropriate facilities can be provided.
